A Beginning…

I want to do a blog because it will be a sort of diary for me to look back on with pictures. I want to use it to record the things that interest me most in my life, that I feel passionate about – mainly my development as a maker of patchwork and quilting, the development of our garden, and the making of this life here with my partner Andrew.

The process of making the blog will hopefully teach me lots of useful skills I don’t have yet, like using the digital camera and the software to process and manipulate images, I’ll enjoy messing about with all that.

I just want to get cracking with it, and not be too fussy about the way it’s written, just need to get the ideas down and it may motivate me to get more of them done…
